Founded in 2008 by visionary perfumer Ahmed Mahdy, Alateeq
Perfumes began as a single-store operation with a clear mission:
to revive the elegance and craftsmanship of traditional perfumery
in Egypt and beyond. With humble beginnings and ambitious
dreams, the brand has grown into a trusted name with seven
branches across Egypt, two additional brands, and a steadily rising
reputation in the Middle East.
In just two years, Alateeq expanded into wholesale perfume
supplies, offering premium fragrance oils, raw materials, and glass
bottles to stores and manufacturers across Egypt. This milestone
laid the foundation for our B2B division, now a major arm of our
business.

By 2017, Alateeq underwent a full rebrand,
launching the first official branch under the
Alateeq name, redefining our identity in
both product and presence. In the years that
followed, we expanded to cover six branches
by 2028 — and we’re not slowing dow

Winner of Egypt’s prestigious Golden Nose Competition
(2018) — judged by international perfumers from
luxury houses like Chanel and Dior, and held under the
sponsorship of Spain’s Euro Fragrances.

• Trained with elite fragrance companies including Delta
Aromatic (Egypt), Carbonnel (Spain), and Givaudan

Dubai, Istanbul, and Cairo, attending specialized training
in natural fragrance compounding and scent design.
• Visited global factories, including Froma and APS in
Istanbul, to deepen his hands-on understanding of raw
oil processing and perfume development.
